Who, what, where, when, why, how?

LIVING IN 8 BITS is an internet web series produced by South Jersey filmmakers and lifelong fans of Nintendo, particularly the Nintendo Entertainment System. We spent our years growing up playing and mastering the original 8 bit NES games. As we got older and developed a love for filmmaking, we haven't lost our affection for the little gray box that provided us endless hours of entertainment.

Throughout the years, we have incorporated numerous references to the NES and the beloved Nintendo franchises into our films. It was only a matter of time before we decided to have fun with it and create a web series around it. With the explosion of social networking websites, video sharing/streaming sites, and the downloadable games, there has been a surge in the appeal and nostalgia of 8 bit gaming. Even Capcom has been releasing new Mega Man games in 8 bits. It's amazing!

Not only do we plan to touch on the 8 bit era of gaming, but others as well. The Sega Genesis, Atari, SNES, and N64 are all fair game and played a huge part of our lives growing up, so without a doubt, we'll play on some games from those consoles as well.

Our sole intention with LIVING IN 8 BITS is to put a fun and playful perspective on the loveable world of 8 bit NES games. We hope you enjoy our skits as much as we enjoy making them!
